Welcome to Camp Story

Nestled among the pines and along the beautiful Little Piney Creek in Story, Wyoming, Camp Story is a Presbyterian (PCUSA)–affiliated camp and retreat center dedicated to “Making Christ Known in the Great Outdoors since 1917.”

For over a century, Camp Story has been a sacred space for people of all ages to connect with God, nature, and one another. We offer camps for all ages — from our youngest four-year-old campers experiencing their first weekend away, to youth leadership programs, family retreats, and adult renewal weekends.

Beyond summer camps, Camp Story opens its doors from August through early October for retreats, reunions, and group rentals. With five large cabins accommodating up to 90 guests and two pastors’ retreat cabins, the camp provides a peaceful setting for reflection, fellowship, and fun.

Our 14-acre property includes:

• A historic Lodge and Dining Hall,

• Indoor and outdoor chapels,

• An open-air pavilion, and

• The tranquil Goose Creek Ditch, perfect for quiet moments and exploration.

Whether you’re roasting marshmallows by the fire, joining in worship beneath the open sky, or serving in one of our volunteer weekends, Camp Story invites you to experience the peace, joy, and community that can only be found here in the Big Horn Mountains.
